Rough Diamond follows the journey of two surfers looking for waves in the middle of the baltic sea. Captured at visually unique places and never before seen spots on an inconspicuously seeming island in the baltic waters.
The baltic surf veteran Jonas Bronnert teams up with J-Bay Local Remi Petersen to explore an island that has not yet recieved much attention from the surf media. Even though it offers everything, from long running pointbreaks to heavy slabs.
As they chase heavy windswells around the island they experience the raw beauty on offer. Finally finding what they were looking for. Spots that have, according to one of the three local surfers on the island, never been ridden before.
The film will be released in January 2016 at the Surf Film Nacht presented by Nouvague.
